Frequently asked questions

What domain formats are accepted?

google.com, https://www.google.com, and subdomains such as mail.google.com are normalized to the registrable domain (e.g. google.com).

Where does the data come from?

Public DNS, RDAP registry servers, direct HTTP checks for ads.txt/sitemap/robots, and one safe homepage fetch for title, description, and contacts. We do not scrape third-party analyzer sites.

Why can’t you preview some homepages?

Large sites may block automated server requests. DNS and registry data are still shown when that happens.

How long are results cached?

Domain reports are cached for 72 hours. Use the refresh option on a report page to run a new analysis.
