This page explains what information TechLinkss (“we”, “us”) collects when you use the website at https://techlinkss.com, why we collect it, and what your choices are.

1. Information you submit

The core function of the site is to expand a shortened URL. When you submit a URL we record:

• The submitted URL.
• The full chain of HTTP redirects observed and the status code of each step.
• The final destination URL.
• The public HTML metadata of the destination page (title, meta description, Open Graph image).
• A timestamp of when the analysis was performed.

This information is stored in a server-side database to power the result page at /u/<id>, the search and history features, and the per-provider statistics. We do not associate it with any user account because we do not have user accounts.

2. Information collected automatically

Our web server records standard request logs: IP address, user-agent string, the requested path, the response status, and a timestamp. These logs are kept for a short period for abuse prevention and debugging and are then deleted or rotated.

3. Cookies

TechLinkss does not set first-party cookies for tracking purposes. We may set a small functional cookie if it becomes necessary for security (for example, to enforce rate limits or CSRF protection). Such a cookie does not contain personal information.

4. Advertising and Google AdSense

TechLinkss may display third-party advertising provided by Google AdSense to keep the service free.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• Alternatively, users may opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google’s consent flow will ask you to choose how ads are personalised before any non-essential cookies are placed.

5. Children

TechLinkss is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. How long we keep data

We retain analysis records for as long as is useful for the public history feature. We may delete or anonymise old records at any time. Server access logs are typically rotated within 14 days.

7. Your choices

If you would like a specific result page removed, please write to us via the contact page. We will normally honour any reasonable removal request within a few business days.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page indicates the last revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
